Art Explore I - Exhibitions of Oil Paintings and Chinese Paintings & Calligraphies
Fairfax, Va. -- Art Discovery Institute (ADI) in Fairfax County, Va., sponsored the first in its “Art Explore” series of exhibition of oil paintings and Chinese paintings and calligraphies, “Art Explore- Exhibitions of Oil Paintings and Chinese Paintings & Calligraphies,” from July 30 – August 14, 2011, at the Accotink Academy, at 8519 Tuttle Road, Springfield, VA 22152.
The exhibitions seek to promote knowledge of Chinese contemporary art and art achievements in both the U.S. and China. For this first in the series, ADI invited renowned masters including Gong Naichang, Robert Gruppe, Charles Movalli, Frank Serrano, Armand Cabrera, Shen Zhaomin, Wang John, Huan Lei and Jack Warden to exhibit their works. Works shown included current oil paintings, Chinese paintings, and Chinese calligraphy.
